Michigan vs The World!!

The Greater Lansing Vintners Club is pleased to present: ‘Michigan vs the World’, a blind tasting of award-winning Michigan wines from the 2018 Michigan Wine Competition competing against the world standards – you are the judge.

You’ll start out the evening with the Best of Class sparkling wine, then sample two pairs of whites, a pair of Rose’ and two pairs of reds, then finish with the Best of Class dessert wine (12 samples total). Cheese and cracker appetizer plate will be served to complement the tasting.

Michigan has 3,050 acres devoted to wine grapes, ranking Michigan in the top ten wine producing states in the country. Michigan’s 140 commercial wineries produce more than 2.7 million gallons of wine annually, an increase of 34% over the last 5 years. Increasingly, Michigan wines are receiving high honors at national and international competitions.

Cost for GL Vintner Club members is $30 per person, non-members $35.
